Dr. Bowen earned his Bachelor of Science in Geographical Information Systems from Louisiana Tech University, graduating with honors. After gaining professional experience in the workforce, he decided to pursue his interest in vision care and attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2018. During his time at Southern College of Optometry, he was recognized for his outstanding clinical skills and received the Clinical Excellence in Contact Lens Award. His commitment to patient-focused care ensures that each individual receives personalized solution for their vision needs.

Originally from South Arkansas, Dr. Bowen now calls Thomasville, Georgia, home, where he resides with his wife, Rachel and their children. Outside the office, he enjoys deer and duck hunting, bass fishing and watching baseball. As an avid sports fan, he follows both the Atlanta Braves and the Arkansas Razorbacks. Dr. Bowen is excited to provide comprehensive, high-quality eye care to the southwest Georgia community.
